Mit dieser neuen Speichertechnologie kann CADdy jedes Projekt in eine Datenbank speichern. Dabei werden alle Objekte analog zum CADdy PIC-Format abgespeichert. Im Lieferumfang von CADdy V ist eine MS Access Runtimeversion bereits enthalten (empfohlen Accessvollversion). Damit lassen sich mittlere und grössere Projekte als Datenbank speichern und bearbeiten.
Mit dem CADdy DB-Server ist problemlos ein Mehrplatzbetrieb möglich. Bereiche können räumlich oder ebenenweise ausgecheckt und bearbeitet werden. Die Rückspeicherung erfolgt automatisch. Mit der kostenpflichtigen Vollversion kann CADdy an beliebige Datenbanken (z.B. Oracle, mySQL) angeschlossen werden. Somit ist auch der Mehrplatzbetrieb im Inter/Intanet möglich.
